Thanks for all the info on this topic i am 36 and have intentions on joining the infantry interested in reserve but more i think about it and gain information about the Army full-time is expelling more and more to me. Is there walk in training sessions at the Barracks Gym eg a Saturday i live on the Gold Coast and would be great to see where my fittness level is at. Thanks.
Hey Matt, No we don't have walk-ins. Our training is very specific with each day having a different focus. You're welcome to a 2 week trial though and everyone starts on a Monday. If that's of interest to you then shoot us through an email here [email protected] Regards, Michael
thanks for info
Thanks for the encouragement. At 47 I am reasonably fit and healthy and about to transfer back to Full-time service. One thing I’ve noticed on course with younger members is that older members often have great resilience. I am relying on this to see me through my current training plan to be at a level to complete a Combat PESA prior to the start of the course.
